An anonymous Halves account is created when you open the app. No sign-up, no email, no passwords — just a random ID. Sign in with Apple is required only when pairing or upgrading that account. Optional display names and profile photos are part of your account data if you add them. You're responsible for your Apple ID and account activity.
Free. No in-app purchases. If that changes, we'll let you know.
We may update these terms. Meaningful changes update the date below. Continued use means acceptance.

All rights in Halves belong to the developer. Using the app doesn't give you ownership of any part of it.
Your content (tasks, groups, notes) is yours. You authorize us to process the account, sync, notification, and diagnostic metadata needed to operate Halves, including account identifiers, optional display names or profile photos, device tokens, invite metadata, and diagnostics (off by default).
Tasks are stored locally with optional iCloud backup. Shared task content is encrypted client-side before sync storage. Notification delivery uses generic placeholders. Server-side metadata can include account identifiers, optional display names or profile photos, device tokens, invite codes, and activity history needed to run the service. Private tasks are never sent to our servers or your partner. If iCloud backup is enabled, all local data including private tasks is included in your encrypted iCloud backup.
You're responsible for your backups and Apple ID security.

Halves is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Use at your own risk.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to amounts paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
Stop using Halves at any time. Use the in-app Delete Account flow if you want to permanently remove your Halves account data. We may suspend access if you violate these terms.
Governed by Swedish law. Disputes resolved in Gothenburg, Sweden, unless law requires otherwise.
