Yes. Automatic iCloud backup. Switch devices, reinstall — tasks restore automatically.

Tap "+", type a title, set priority, assign, add a due date. Or use quick-add: type "buy groceries tomorrow @Alex" and Halves parses everything automatically.

Type naturally. "Buy groceries tomorrow @Alex p1" auto-parses the date, assignee, and priority. Parsed fields appear as chips you can tap to modify.

Tasks assigned to "Both" appear in both your and your partner's lists. Great for things you do together. Recurring shared tasks track who completed each occurrence.

Tasks only you can see. Never synced, never broadcast. Marked with a lock icon.

Yes. Daily, Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly, and Yearly. Choose specific days for weekly recurrence.

Yes. Each task can have its own reminder time, or it uses your global default. Set it when creating or editing a task.

A one-tap push notification for overdue tasks assigned to the other person. 24-hour cooldown per task.

When you create a group, pick its type — Couple, Roommates, Coworkers, Friends, Parent & Child, or Solo. It helps Halves tailor the experience.

Complete at least one task every day to build a streak. Your streak count appears as a flame badge. Milestones are celebrated at 7-day, 30-day, 100-day, and 365-day marks.

When both you and your partner complete tasks on the same day, you build a couple streak together.

A one-day safety net. If you miss a day, a freeze protects your streak from resetting.

Three sizes. Small: glanceable task counts. Medium: interactive — check off tasks from your Home Screen. Large: dashboard view.

Three styles. Circular: a progress ring showing tasks completed. Rectangular: your upcoming tasks at a glance. Inline: a compact task count next to the clock.

Yes. Medium and large Home Screen widgets. Tap the checkbox, done.

No. Task content is encrypted on your device before it reaches our servers. We only see ciphertext.
